Bamboo and Bamboo Charcoal in Sustainable Product Innovation and Development

The Taiwan is one of the most technologically advanced in computer microchip and high-tech electronic makers in the world. Sustainability and technology intertwined, driving innovative solutions for some of the world's most pressing environmental challenges. Bamboo Technology is at the forefront of sustainable innovation, offering solutions that benefit both the environment and various industries.
The project aimed to integrate bamboo materials with Smart IoT technology, including voice recognition and smart lighting, as an initiative to promote awareness of bamboo's potential in the technology sector. Since bamboo production is largely labor-intensive, our attempt was to reduce manual effort and time by using laser machining into the process.
The design is an inspired from Taiwanese traditional lanterns are an essential part of the country's culture heritage, often associated with festival, celebration and symbolic meanings. Bamboo AI smart light blends traditional material with modern technology, creating a unique fusion of cultural heritage and contemporary aesthetics.
